CtP Direct Plate Overview

VPS

 

CtP Direct Plate Steps:

  1. Customer uses x5 Cloud Printers to output their files
  2. x5 starts ripping it into VPS and 1-Bit TIFF files
  3. VPS files are saved to Cloud Disk, 1-Bit TIFF files are kept for future use
  4. Customer uses Kodak VPS reader to review the VPS files (if they found any problem they can re-start the process)
  5. Customer uses x5 to place order
  6. Optionally, x5 uses the 1-Bit TIFF to output the digital-proof (blueprint)
  7. x5 uses the 1-Bit TIFF to output the plate accordingly
